  1. Hi :), Its been a while since anyone has posted on this thread but Im hopeful that some of you will still read my post. I finished Blocks 1-2 (LPN) about 5years ago and Im in my last week of Microbiology, which is my last prerequisite to apply into Block 3. I attended MCCCD/Estrella for my LPN. Im just a bit confused about what I do now. I am enrolled in Pharm 187 to begin at the end of this month and is one month long. I also need to take the HESI-A2 and HESI-PN. Do I have to wait until I (hopefully) pass these tests to apply? I feel so lost. I am really REALLY hoping there would be a way that I could start this fall. I think the best program for me would probably be the GCC wknd program. Does anyone know the start dates of Block 3 placements? Like is it every Jan. and Aug? Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Hi. Does anyone know if the July start date is only for Block one? I am planning on doing advanced placement (Im an LPN) and wanted to know what months Block 3 starts. Any info would be appreciated.

  5. Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone can give me information on what blocks 3 &4 in the wknd program entail. I think i read somewhere on the blog that block 3 does not have lecture, only lab. Also, how long is each block? a semester?
  6. Hi, im wondering if someone can give me the information I need. Im feeling really lost. I am an LPN and have one class left to finish my prereqs which I am planning on starting in the spring. I'd like to know if I have a wait list to get into an advanced placement program. I got my lpn certification at estrella mountain, however, i can only attend either the part time or weekend program. So if I plan on attending gcc, is there a list i would need to get on? Also, can someone explain to me what hours/days both part time/wknd programs attend school. Any information would be truly appreciated :) Dee
