  1. Classes are offered on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Some students take classes all just one day, some go both days. Just depends on your schedule.
  2. Yes , the program is manageable so far. I am only taking 8 units right now and working part time.
  3. I wish you the best! I'm going into the Post Master NP program. I have my MSN-Education, 3 yrs RN experience, 3.4 GPA
  4. I emailed the admissions counselor back to clarify what it my "hold" status meant. They said that it's basically a ranked waiting list, and they don't disclose the rankings on the list. They would update students as spots open up.
  5. I just looked up the schedule of classes from last year. I saw that classes fell on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  6. I received email notice that my status is on "hold" at this point, and that I would be updated each month on the final decision. Also, the wait list is ranked which is not disclosed.
  7. Contacted Admissions counselor this week and they said pending final decisions still. An e-mail and letters would be out next week
  8. I have not heard anything as well. I applied for the Post Masters FNP and was told that decisions would be made the last week of April (which is this week). Crossing my fingers, toes, etc!!
  9. I looked at the schedule of classes online for 2015, and it looks like classes fall on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Looks like you can take all classes on a Tuesday (if you go full time), or some on Thursday (if you go part time). I'm going full-time and working full time so plan to take classes all on Tuesday, which makes it a very long day from 10am-8pm !!
  10. Received acceptance from Nursing Dept. today. My status in the university system was updated to accepted as well.
  11. My understanding is that we should be receiving communication through email from the Nursing Dept. as well. If you have been admitted to the university, that's sounds like a good sign:)
  12. How did you prepare for the interview and writing exercise?
  13. Thanks, Guavaturtle. I really appreciate your input:)
  14. A little overwhelmed with all the required coursebooks. For Pharmacology, 192C and 193C which texts are absolutely necessary to buy? There is the two volume Med-Surg book in the bookstore for 192 C. Is that one necessary? I have the complete Ignatavicius (it's only one big volume) which I think is for 193C. Also, has anyone rented textbooks before?
  15. I tried to add my courses for the fall and 192C was closed and couldn't register for the other required courses because it is a co-requisite. I figured I would be given an add code for the courses on the 1st day of class. Just curious, I should still be part of the program, right?
