Good morning guys..How long does it take to complete the achieve module? Haven't had a chance to start it.

I bought the Littman Cardiology III Stethoscope..Found it on Ebay brand new for almost half the regular price.

sorry i was away guys...this is the email i received on the test book... students, the required textbook for you on the 14th is listed below, as well as a text that is highly recommended by me for the class. please make sure that you read chapters 1 – 10 from the test success textbook prior to coming to the workshop on the 14th. read, review and take all quizzes for chapters 1 – 10 in the nursing fundamentals reviews and rationales textbook. 1). test success. 6th ed. by nugent, p. and vitale, b. (2012). 2). nursing fundamentals. 6th ed. reviews & rationales by hogan, m. (2008) or latest edition. this is highly recommended by me, but not required. so, you have about a month to read and review the two textbooks that i have presented to you here, make sure you make time now for this important preparation as you will find it very difficult to keep up with the class if you do not put forth the effort now! finally, for the 14th, i would like everyone to purchase the nursing curriculum packet that is listed on your book list. the packet can only be purchased here at mdc, we will be using it during the workshop. i look forward to working with all of you this semester. chair, generic programs school of nursing miami dade college 950 nw 20th st. miami, florida 33127

Hey guys..Did everyone receive that email today about the workshop on the 14th? I did not know the Test success book was mandatory. Does anyone know how much it is in the bookstore?? It's pretty cheap online.

All pre-reqs must be completed before applying.Few years back they allowed students to turn in their apps while missing some classes, but not no more.

I was going to customize a pair of air max to all white on nike.com, but I'm not to sure if the bubble that runs along the bottom is acceptable. It's transparent, but they're so picky they'll probably say no.

I haven't purchased it yet either. I called up there last week and a lady told me what it was. I'll probably head back up there today.

It contains mask,tape,dressing tray,secondary IV,etc....

Explain your situation to an advisor and ask them to sign you up for all the classes. If one says no just ask another. Ask a few of them if you need to, and you'll usually find one that will do it for you.

Nursing Dept.told me yesterday if anyone registers early( before orientation)their classes will get dropped.

Hey guys..I was talking to a few RN friends about the job market for new grads. They said the way to go is internship. Jackson, UM, and Baptist all offer them. There are different types of internship also.(Emergency,Icu,etc) They're four months long and mainly for new grads. It's how you get your experience. If you are looking to get a job in ICU or emergency you will need to have experience or have gone through an internship. They're offered twice a year at each hospital, and you need to be already licensed to apply.

There are many job openings for new AS degree's. Go to career builder.com and press registered nurse in search box...Tons of jobs for both Bachelors and Associate degree's.. And that's just careerbulider..lol..Don't worry.

I use amazon and ebay. But to find the lowest prices nation wide use dealoz.com. It has listings from amazon, ebay, and many of other locations.It also shows you the best prices. I've found many books on their site dirt cheap.
