Good luck to your quiz. You'll be fine. My POLS 1000 is not that hard except for the 3 papers. We have one quiz per week and those questions are all from the text book. My stresses are all from ANTH 1200. Papers, papers, endless papers......I'm really trying my hardest to do the papers but not sure if I'll pass it or not......

I was finally put in the POLS 1000 class. One quiz each week plus 3 papers for the whole semester. POLS is not that bad so far. The papers for my ANTH 1200 is going to kill me...... How is Pharm class? So far so good?

Hi, everyone! I guess I'll have no chance to study any courses for this fall. They are all closed. Then I'll take the Correspondence Study courses. But STAT 2050 is not available either and the only course I'll be able to take is ANTH 1200. When spring courses are available, I'll make sure to register as EARLY as possible to get in. SIGH......

Anyone used Ebooks? How do you feel about using Ebooks? I found out Ebooks are way cheaper than paper books in UW's book store, but I don't dare to buy.

vasfar2001, have you bought your POLS 1000 books? I'll be in section 41 and my teacher will be Dr. Pizor if I'm lucky enough to get in.

I don't think the 1 credit test counts cause the program of study states POLS 1000 (3 credits) is required. But anyway, we can check it again with our nursing department or our advisors.

The Political Science Department says that the 3 credits test is very hard and only a few in 50 people can pass the test, but the 1 credit test is easy to pass, though. Reading the books will take about 2 months and it's a proctored test. With 2 little ones at home, I guess more than 50% chance I'll fail it. Taking the course might be my first choice now.

I just received an e-mail which states that my admission is finalized and my advisor will be in touch with me soon. Therefore, I think I'll receive my official course requirement very soon. For POLS 1000, I'm going to give myself a try, but the Political Department hasn't replied my e-mail yet. Before I start, I need to confirm that I'll be able to take the test in my area. You'll be fine with the algebra. I may need it, too. I got another problem: PHCY 4450 is open, but the waitlist was filled, so I'm not able to register this course, not even be put on the waitlist. It always shows "Registration add errors", do you guys have any suggestions on it? All help are appreciated! Also, I guess I need to take PSYC 1000, but I couldn't find it available online. When you see it's available, please do tell me first. Thanks a lot!

american & wyoming government exam (3 credit hours) individuals desiring to challenge the entire course (3 hrs. - national and state government) may take a comprehensive examination. this examination consists of a large number of multiple choice, true/false, and short answer questions. students should obtain the books for pols 1000, which should include an american government book, as well as the book listed above, from the bookstore and read the u.s. and wyoming constitutions. passing = 70%. this exam may be retaken once in your academic career (not per semester). sitting fee and application are required for each attempt.

yay! good for you! vasfar2001! i just contacted the political science department and they said the test doesn’t actually replace the pols 1000 course, it does meet the wy constitution usp requirement.i think the test should be able to meet the usp requirement for our program. i'll ask them for more details.
