Yale RN-MSN Fall 2013
Congrats guys, can't wait to meet you both! I'm actually a new BSN grad in CT (or will be shortly, my past life is in community psych) so the license is not an issue but I've heard the CT process isn't too bad. Physical and labs are a bit of a pain in the... Let me know if you need help with suggestions for places to live. New Haven is a great little city but there are definitely areas you want to avoid and some of the suburbs can be pricy/are far from campus.

PSYCH Assessment & MSE APA format?
I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for but in my assessments course I had similar directions for an assignment and got a good grade by following this guide: http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/16/ Hope it helps! In general, I've found Purdue's site super helpful for my APA formatting questions.

Columbia ETP Program 2012 entry
Hey all! I'm applying too for the Psych/Mental Health specialty. I'm curious, what other schools is everyone applying to as well? I know I'm definitely going to apply to Yale too, but other than that I'm not really sure where else. I feel like I definitely need a couple safety schools as these programs are really competitive. Maybe Regis? Northeastern?

Psych APRN Programs? (Repost from prenursing)
Hey guys! I'm interesting in pursuing an APRN with a concentration in mental health. I'm currently in a Psych program getting my MA and will be done next December. An APRN appeals to me because it allows you to be the whole package in treatment in terms of having the option to use psychotherapy, medication, or both - without having to go to medical school - which is pretty cool. I've been researching different advanced/graduate entry programs and was wondering if anyone had any opinions or suggestions on different programs - or advice on getting into them. As of right now I really like what Yale and BC have to offer (although I'm not sure I can get into either) Thanks!
