  1. hi! i need your help. i'm working in a hazardous company with 2000+ employees. and i've got a problem with the ratio of the health care provider (particular the nurse) and the employees. do you know any article or law which could give an info with this? the set up is, on every shift there is 1 nurse to attend the clinic.
  2. good day!just want to ask regarding this dilemma i had. i am a company nurse and in our company we do have this so called spc clinic where all the members will contribute any improvement to the clinic. anyhow it really helps. however recently they demand us- nurses not to allow employee to stay in the clinic. some of our employee during their breaks will go to the clinic and have a few minutes to rest. how will we consider this?we were in between the employee and the spc/hr. tnx..
  3. thought only those necessary things we do to the patient will be recorded..
  4. i work in a company where most of the employees are male. 90% of the population are professionals. most of them tried to flirt to female nurses on duty. and those men are committed and worse they are married. when i'm the one whose on duty, those oppurtunistics are rare in the clinic. i just don't entertain their flirtitous domain..it is different when my nurse reliever has her duty.. a lot of them are in the clinic roaring like flirty lion,,(well it's just an exaggerated definition) i don't mind it at first as long as my fellow do her job..it is her own prerogative if she entertain those oppurtunistic..but my temper ended (as usual), one of the employee asked me when my nurse reliever will have her duty, i answered him casually that i dont know..as we parted, he told his friend and i heared it!(they are just 10 feet away from me)"that nurse is the ugly one!"and both of them laugh..i don't know how to react that moment..i turn and look at him straight saying nothing..from then i never saw him in the clinic..he must pray harder that he will not get an accident while im on duty..maybe this "ugly nurse" will be the one to take care of him..
  5. i work 12 hours a day, and during my night shift, i already set my mind for it. the power of mind. i prepared myself through getting enough sleep. i sleep 8 hours at night and have a nap for an hour at noon. remember that too much sleep could cause you headache,:). during my duty i avoid eating too much. it makes me feel sleepy. a nice talk with your fellow also could help..hope this couldwork with you..have a nice duty!
  6. i think i do understand you..go on..there's always as reason why things happen..let those people see that you are a big lost to them..
