  1. Hi. Try aureus manpower. They seem to have a good offer at the moment. Check their post on workabroad site under January 3 entries. Although this was posted back in September last year. Maybe they need more. lots of luck.
  2. Getting back to you on that PRN #. I've looked at the documents sent by NMC and so far only the letter page contains the PRN #. It's right after the greetings. :)
  3. Hey there. Glad to help. You should find the PRN number on the letter page of packet 1, the one where you detached the sheets you returned to NMC along with the required documents. It is labeled PRN # so you should not have trouble finding it. I'll get back to you later 'cause I need to verify myself if it was stamped on the other pages included in the packet. I don't remember. But I'm sure it was on the letter page. They will not do anything to your papers until you pay. They will not even review the documents you just sent to see if you did it right unless you pay the fees. So if you are in a hurry, better grab that phone and credit card and call them up.
  4. Nope, I don't remember doing so. Hey, if you don't mind hearing me out. Don't rush your UK dream. Wait for a better opportunity. The best offer I've seen so far is that of Greenfields. I know someone who was deployed by Greenfields and she's doing all right. I also know someone who went there on student visa and it's not a good story to tell. Be patient. It's not easy living overseas without job and without funds.
  5. Did that. They require applicants to be currently employed. Too bad for me. By the way, better if you have your birth certificate notarized instead of sending an original NSO certified copy. I just noticed there's no seal or any indication at all that it is NSO certified so they might question it. Or if you could, ask NSO to put a seal or mark of any sort on it just to be safe. Not that it is a critical issue but it might cause unnecessary delays. Lots of luck.
  6. Hey, Anna Potter. I was referring to those forms that you sort of detach, some of it you fill out information, others you sort of sign. Like I said I called them request forms coz I didn't know how else to call them. Wasn't there an instruction somewhere that you are supposed to return the forms together with the authenticated documents. Read and reread the instructions, they're all there. To answer your question, yes, you need to return SOME of the forms. Not all that was contained in the packet though. You can always pay with a bank draft if you can find a bank that does it in POUNDS. I've asked Metrobank, Chinabank, Banco de Oro, PNB, you name it. They only do bank draft in dollars. No, I'm not with an agency yet. Though I made inquiries already.
  7. Just so we're on the same page here, are you referring to the 1st pack? Because there are 2 packs actually. But if you are on your 1st pack, my meager knowledge might helpl:D Yes you will use the envelope included in the pack to send it back. You will send all the forms back EXCEPT for the instruction sheet. To be more specific the following should be returned: (1)Face sheet (the one where you provide details of your IELTS) (2) request form for registrations certificate + authenticated copy of your board certificate (3) request form for birth certificate +authenticated copy of birth certificate (i actually submitted the original NSO copy of my birth certificate) (4)request form for registration license + authenticated photocopy of your license (5) request form for passport + authenticated photocopy of your passport (I photocopied mine then brought it to DFA for authentication) I think that sums it all up. I'll check back with you later 'cause I might have forgotten something. As for the payment, I paid with a credit card. I couldn't find a bank that issues bank drafts in pounds. If you don't have your own credit card, you can ask your friends/relatives to lend you one. And to save on mailing, just mail it at your local post office as REGISTERED MAIL. It's cheaper, P120. Mine reached it's destination in less than 2 weeks. I know so because they received my documents before I finally decided to call them up to settle the fee of 140 pounds. To pay by credit card call: 0207 333 6600. Please note time difference. We are 8 hours ahead of their time plus they are on daylight saving time which means 9 a.m. is 8 a.m. I hope I'm not confusing you. (I have globe SIM so I dialed this sequence: 1280044 2073336600. You may not connect on the first try so try again ) NOTE: f you are using someone else's credit card, the owner should be beside you to supply the details for the credit card. The will only ask you details like PRN #, name, birth date but the credit card information should be provided by the owner of the credit card himself/herself. BTW, I didn't know how to label the forms so I referred only to it as request forms. Call them however you like.
  8. Hi there. I guess we're in the same boat here If you don't mind me asking, which pack are you at? Are you currently working and are you with any agency? Sorry to be nosy. It's just maybe we could help each other along the way. :)
  9. Come to think of it, why not?:) I'll just go ahead and send my application then inquire and pay my fees at the same time if their answer is promising. Thanks.
  10. Hi. Thanks for that. You are a lifesaver.
  11. Mine is 2256. And the minimum requirement is 2300. That's why I'm apprehensive about pushing through with this.
  12. I suppose you're right. :) That was one scary mistake and I sure am thankful it wasn't me. By the way, I'm still on my 1st Pack so I'm not sure what details are being asked on the 2nd pack. Does the 2nd pack asks for a breakdown of RLE hours? Sorry to be so paranoid about this but if it saves me 140 pounds then it sure is worthwhile.
  13. Thanks. I do have batchmates there. Sadly enough, they went there on student visas. No one I know took this pathway. By this, I meant the NMC pathway. Others on the other hand are misleading because they announce they are working as nurses but they can't answer my questions because they are working as carers but are too ashamed to admit it. Well, I do hope this recent "life-support issue" involving a filipina nurse will not turn the tide for us. Good luck to all.
  14. Hi. May I just ask those who received their eligibility to do the ONP if any of you have total RLE hours below 2300. I heard rumors that some were issued eligibility despite this. Can anyone confirm please. Thanks.
