  1. I just gave birth to my son on April 2. I was in a private room the entire time, including while I was in triage to determine if I was in real labor. Once it is determined you are in labor you are moved to a private room that serves as LDRP. I ended up with a c-section so I had to go to surgical recovery but that was also (from what I remember) a private room. And the baby stays in the room with you the entire time which helps you adjust to taking care of a newborn before you are sent home.
