Hello everyone, I am required to write up a proposal for change using evidence-based research. I would like to do something that has to do with ambulatory care/surgical centers/outpatient clinics. Patients are in and out within three hours at my facility. I'm at a loss for topics. I would have liked to propose a change to use lidocaine in IV starts, but I've already done that for another project . Any ideas??

So my employer told me that I am no longer able to work as a CNA once I pass boards because I will be overqualified for the position. I understand this, but they told me that I should put in a two week notice. I have not accepted an RN position yet, so I am not in a hurry to put in notice as i'd like to stay internal as long as I can. Why are they asking me for a notice when they're the ones who told me I can't work when I pass NCLEX? Is it better to put in a notice or just wait til they let me go cause i'm overqualified?

I have my CNA license and am already accepted into an ADN nursing program starting next fall. I am enrolled in prerequisite classes and am getting good grades, so far. It seems that no one has answered my question here,.. I am just looking for a simple list of what types of jobs an RN, BSN, and MSN can get me. RN: floor nurse, MSN: crna,.. What else? I just need more ideas, and I know there are tons of options.

I definitely wat to specialize, and it really isn't for the money. I'd rather enjoy my job and get paid decently than hate it and get paid a lot. If there aren't jobs for crnas, what are my other options that I do with a bachelors or masters?

So is it not worth the extra 2-4 years? I'm considering getting a masters to be a CRNA.
