  1. Thanks everyone. I have been looking for a new job since march and it's hard to find a rn residency job. Also my boss said he would let me use his company car for some visits. He said I make what I should because our home health agency does not provide any skilled service, but I feel like for all the paperwork, I should be compensated more.
  2. Hey, I am an RN with 6 months of experience and have had a hard time finding a new job. I started working at a home health place with a private employer. He pays me 40$ per new patient assessment and 30$ for every visit. He does not pay for my gas and if two clients live in the same house, he does not pay me extra to do paperwork. My job duties include going to clients houses every two months and seeing if the CNAs are working out and do the plan of care. I also am available by phone to answer questions and certify patient care technicians by teaching classes. I used to not get paid to go to my home health office, only for the visits. Now my emoloyer has offered a full tiem which he wants to pay 2000$ per month. I work 7 hours, but do not get paid for visits. I am also the only nurse so I act as a nurse supervisor. Am I getting paid properly? Should I take the full time job considering the economy? Am i supposed to get a gas card or something? Please help.
