Hello and SEC Assessment
@Chengzz: I started sending my application to CRNM early 2008 with my Ielts exam (Academic Version). I received my invitation to complete the CCA June 2010. It is valid for one year period. I plan to take the CCA before june of next time. I hope my PR will be granted before that time. Are you taking the CCA in manitoba also?

PR/Skilled Worker & taking CCA?
thanks, silverdragon and janfrm. was really hoping to hear from you guys. yea, thats was my dilemma before when I was conversing via email to the registration dept of CRNM; though my hours of practice is valid for the past 5 years, still I have to take CCA/ Clinical Competency Assessment and she said that mostly of IENs are advised to take this. and later on, it turned out that I have to take it when I received the assessment result of my application from CRNM and is valied tor 1 year aswell the thing is, I cant get inside Canada until my immigration papers are done. my PR/fed skilled Worker category is just to be filed and my representatives in Canada is working with my AEO's approval from HRSDC. have an idea how long is the processing time for PR in Federal Skilled worker Category, with an Offer by an Employer approved by HRSDC?

changed Processing time for Federal skilled worker (including RNs)
WHATS an AOR? Is that the same with AEO - Arrange Employment Opinion? My process is PR/Fed Skilled Worker and I already have the request from the College of Manitoba for their assessment. CCA they call it there, not SEC. FMOG, Whats the new rule after June 2010? you paid the already the cc? whats that? I bet my immigration papers was not filed yet due to my AEO. still waiting for the file number or approval from HRSDC. sILVERDRAGON, What changes are these? Thanks guys

PR/Skilled Worker & taking CCA?
Hi everyone, this is my first time to write and finally decided to join in the forum. I applied for the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) roughly by the end of 2008. and the whole year of 2009 was spent sending documents and competing other requirements (IELTS and IQAS to name a few) required by the college and as instructed by my Representative who reside in Ontario. A Canadian immigration Lawyer, who act on behalf of me with the College. and after all the long wait and the patience-is-a-virtue ideology, it was just early this year I received the result of my assessment from the College and it states that as an IEN under the Practicing Registered Nurse Registration I have to undergo a Clinical Competemncy Assessment or CCA inside Canada before I can be Eligible to sit for CRNE. CCA will provide the nurse opportunity to demonstrate that they meet entry-level compemtencies in Manitoba and is completed over 3-5 day period. Is this similar to the SEC assessment in other provinces? I have already received my Invitation letter addressed to the Canadian Consulate, for the said Assessment. and I am applying for a Permanent Resident/Federal Skilled Worker Category and my Representative in Canada is already working with my employer to come up for my Arrange Employment Opinion (AEO) before we can file my Immigration. Is this the correct process? My Representative will file it there in Ontario and not here in Manila. Is this possible? I have already sent the PR forms and documents and payments with it. and aslo my IELTS will expiring this december 2010. Will be there any issues if ever the process of my application for PR/Skilled Worker will go beyond this year? Im afraid they havent file my immigration yet since they are waiting for the HRSDC'S file number for my AEO. Do you have any idea on how much long this will take? ive been waiting for 2 years now since I applied for CRNM. AND STILL my PR/Skilled Worker is just about to be filed. How much waiting is there more? Please enlighten me with my dilemma. Thanks fellow nurses

Hello and SEC Assessment
hi everyone, I finally decided to join so I can write as well in this forum. I applied for a registration in the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) as part of my PR/SKILLED WORKER Application, and after completing the requirements of the college and the final review was all over, the results of their assessment was that and since I am a IEN - I have to undergo sa CCA. a Clinical Compemtency Assessment : its says it will provide you (nurses)the opportunity to demonstrate that you meet the entry-level competencies in Manitoba, and is completed over 3-5 day period. I have my letter of refferral already and I just have to schedule my appointment with them. It will be hels at Assessment Centre for Nursing at the Health and Sciences Center in Winnipeg. My question is, is this similar to that of SEC Assessment? jusT that this one is in Manitoba, CRNM? And does any one have an idea how long is the recent processing time for the PR/Federal Skilled Worker Class Application? Please
