  1. Thanks April. It must be tons of information to remember. How often do you have a test? What is your schedule like?
  2. Hello, I am not in nursing school but I am planning on starting in 2011. I am finishing up my prerequisites. My question is what is the universal standard on wearing jewelry with your scrub uniform? I am thinking that bracelets and rings are not permitted, but what about earring studs for females and short necklaces?
  3. I am currently deployed in Afghanistan. I will be back home at the end of October. I already have a degree so I have some prerequisites. I sent in my transcripts and submitted my application. I plan on talking to a nursing advisor to find out what other prereqs I need to take and how long should it take me to get through the program. I hope that I can be finished with the nursing program itself in at the most 2 1/2 years. Do you think that it is possible in the part-time program?
  4. I just would like to say that this thread is so inspirational. I am 25 and I thought that I was a little old to be starting my prerequisites in Nursing.
  5. Hello all, I am currently in the National Guard and work full-time. I am waiting on a promotion that I have earned but they claim that they have no slots. I am interested in started a new career because I am honestly unsatisfied with my job, and I want a job that is versatile where I can constantly learn new things that interest me and help others using what I have learned and my skills. I am looking for a career that is rewarding financially, personally, and mentally. I am interested in the part time nursing program at Jeff State because it is not a long commute and I have heard good things about their program. If you are currently in the Nursing program at Jefferson State, please give me your experience and thoughts on the Program. What is the work load usually like? Do you feel like they are preparing you to pass the NCLEX? :)
