  1. I have heard that your name doesn't appear on the website until you've received a notice stating you passed and you have to pay another 100 dollars for your license. That is when they will post your name on the website. Other than that, just breathe... You'll be fine!!!
  2. I live in California.. The last time I checked, or heard.. we still have to wait the weeks... let me know if you know otherwise.. thank you!
  3. i took my boards today. i stopped at 185 questions. what the heck does that mean? i know, i know. it doesn't matter where you end... i just hear a lot of people passing on 85 or 205... anyone pass in between? nearly around my ending number? i studied the new mosby's book w/ new format... i did not get any of the new format and no dosage calculations. i got a lot on nutrition and priority nursing. i feel like i guessed on some, that's how hard it was. i studied so hard.. i hope i pass. if i don't, shoot me! good luck to all! :uhoh3: :rotfl: :uhoh21: :imbar :uhoh3:
  4. Congratulations! I took mind today! ahhhhh...
  5. I graduated the LVN program in August of '03. The first and second time I took the test, I failed at 85 questions. (I must've done really bad)... I'll admit, I didn't put my all into it, I was too excited from graduation and was not focused on studying prior to my tests. Anyway, for my 3rd try (taken on 3/4/05), I studied my *** off. For a whole month, I read and practiced questions off of Lippincott's and Saunders (incl. the cd-roms)... I stressed, obsessed, and just studied as hard as I possibly could. (what more do i need to know, i'm not trying to be a physician here)... So the night before taking my 3rd test, I relaxed, watched tv (because I didn't while i was studying)... Woke up early the day of my test. Had breakfast with a friend that was taking the test as well. Then while on the "hot seat" at the test-taking center, I was literally pissing my pants, sweating hard! I was nervous because this was my 3rd time okay. So.. I would sit there, breathe in/out, try to relax... Gave it my all to the best of my knowledge. I hoped and prayed I wouldn't stop at 85 (knowing i failed at 85 before), I DIDNT! OH thank goodness, even though the CAT test stops whenever it decides whether you pass or fail. Anyway, I stopped at the maximum of 205 questions in 4.5 hours. I got alot of priority nursing questions. Similar formatted questions but different disorders/diseases.. A few 'new format' select all that applies question. No dosage calc. A few ISLAM questions. Anyway, WHAT DO YOU THINK?????????
