  1. I won't mention names but my fiancée had a kid with someone whoexpresses these character traits. Luckily, my analytical mind, plus my intuitionkicked into gear and was able to detect her sinister ways. Conversely, she hada web around my ostrich fiancée for quite sometime, before I could get him tosee her true colors. I am a firm believer in that the truth always comes out.By the way loved this article, it was nicely written! It was like light burstingout of darkness.:)
  2. Recently, I noticed when applying for RN jobs that employers aren't requiring as much experience, and no longer mandating BSN. Or is it just that I am being hopeful and stumbled upon some luck? I would love to hear your feed back please. Been out of work since July and have only had a few interviews. Does anyone think there is going to be a turn around? What's it lookinglike in your neck of the woods? Thank you in advance for your input. P.S. I live in southwest, WA. Please include your area of job prospects.
  3. I am going through the same thing..Graduated in June 2010..RN in AuGust..I too have applied many places however, they want experience. I am going to keep trying, praying and hoping that eventually someone will give me a break. In the meantime, I am volunteering in the community. Perhaps that will eventually pay off. Wish you luck and keep your chin up, I know things will get better.
  4. Wow, I feel for you..I am still struggling to get a job. However, now I am thinking which is better? Having to wait to get a decent job, or taking the first thing available that makes my life miserable and makes me want to quit. Sometimes we have to out way what is going to give us quality of life. Hang in there..I hope things turn around for you soon. Best of Luck!
  5. I am open to as many pointers as well. I am also a new RN as of Aug 2010. I am a little overwhelmed with getting the right resume in because there are so many new nurses competing for jobs. In the northwest it seems like there is way more nurses than positions. This is very frustrating due to the fact it took me so long and I worked so hard to become a RN. Like I said I am welecome to any feed back. Greatly apprciated
