  1. what are the practical nursing programs in atlanta, i could find any
  2. Thank you InTheBlood that was simply what I was saying but in my own words of course. I guess when you have people that can't read between the lines they get offended. I never let the negativity bring me down, in fact it makes me stronger. Again thanx.
  3. thanx for the advice ether
  4. There is nothing wrong with having more than one idea of what you want to do or where you want to go. This site helped me out a lot, thats why I asked those types of questions, because I am still a young adult with so many career goals I wanted some help to narrow it down to one. If you want to read my posts and be up in my nostrils why not help me out don't try to put me down because its not working, I lose no sleep.
  5. MONEY IS NOT MY SOLE MOTIVATION.
  6. I just realized an error I made. I am in college already, I am the first in my generation to go and just because I made a statement about money does not mean that is my "sole motivation",I just said I am curious. It is to become successful in life in whatever field of study I plan to pursue, continue to care for my family and have one of my own. I agree that if people are in it for the money they wont be happy, I've experienced that myself already so you are late professor.I have a great paying job now that I am satisfied with . Money isn't everything but it sure as he** is alot of things.
  7. How so? I want to become a CRNA and I'm exciting to know what another person has I may have going to school. My family is very poor and I will be the first to go to college and become a CRNA so I wanted to get an idea of how I can give my family the best in the future. I'm 21 and not sorry that isnt mature enough for you:stone
  8. I'm so curious to know how CRNA's live. By the hectic schedule I've been told about how do find time to go out and spend your money, like buy a big beautiful house, decorate it, buy clothes, and so on. What kind of cars do you drive getting a fat check like that.
  9. Also where would be a great place to start searching online for a place to live online in VA beach
  10. I am really interested in moving to VA beach and I would like to reside by the beach. I'm curious as to what a one bedroom apartment, condo, or whatever is going to cost me by the water. Also does nayone know if they accept housing vouchers (public housing assistance, section 8......)
  11. What school are you attending to get your BSN.
  12. Do anyone know of any schools that have this program in the south? If so how long is the program and is it stressful. My first choice is a CRNA but its always best to have plan B just incase you know. If you are a midwife what is your life like? this career and having kids and a husband etc. Also how much is the salary because I saw $75,000 then it was lower than that, I guess it depends on whether you are certified or not? What setting would be great to work in (home, hospital, etc). If you can send a website that would be great too. Thanks
  13. I saw a school called barry university in miami shores, 7 miles from miami. They have an anestesiology and nursing program there, any comments on what is teh living life like there in miami shores or miami. Miami beach also I'm weighing all my options:p

Also is the Bay Medical Center close to panama city beach because thats where I'm taking my CRNA program. I do plan on living on the beach and working in the city.Do you know the pay there for RN in the NICU and a CRNA?

  17. I see not many Nebraskans on here, but anyway does anyone know the pay for CNA's at bergan mercy and Immanuel?
  18. so what education is required to be a certified nurse midwife or a neonatal nurse practioner
  19. when u get a BSN what specialties can u work as now that u couldn't when u were just a RN with an ADN?

I have not done CNA work in 4 years, I have decided to go for my LPN,so is there any area where I can work that is not very strenuous and not so much will be thrown at me all at once, because my skills will be a little rusty I know. I'm trying to go for my LPN at the same time. I know everyone says work in med/surg to get valuable experience, but right now bills and school are my priority so I have to balance the two out and still have my sanity if thats possible, so help me out somebody!!!
  21. Sorry - I should have been more specific - I mean what age groups/types of patients (not number population) do you want to work with? Oops - I edited your post when I meant to reply to it - lol - it's late! - Nurse Ratch
  22. yeah because on the application it says that the hours will vary depending on bloodmobile drive and location
  23. I'm a CNA and I'm applying for a job. I have never worked in a hospital so out of the oncology, orthopedics, cardic unit,med/surg,spine center, and gero/psych areas, which would you prefer to work in and why. Which would have the not so heavy lifting. Also what is a nursing PINS????
  24. There are positions as a CNA or phlebotomist at American Red Cross. I have both those certifications. Has anyone ever worked at Red Cross? what is it like, because it even requires some out-of-the-city work? and I can't imagine what a CNA would do there, whats the pay and would you recommend anyone working there?
