I am a new grad RN (passed NCLEX in the middle of August 2013) and i recently got a job offer as a homecare nurse. I am very nervous because the company said they do 1 day orientation with 1-4 days with a preceptor. Is this common for homecare?

I went to school there for the RN program and i transferred. I went to the Nursing Department with about a 3.75 and they told me i most likely won't be able to get in. Now I'm in Kingsborough and i got accepted and starting in the fall =)

hmm...i got accepted but mine still says undeclared nursing...

If they mailed some out yesterday then their not done yet =) I got mine last thursday.

I had to guess on some. The test was a lot harder then I thought. The math was just like the book but science and vocabulary wasn't. Someone told me the 9:30 test was really easy. I know they say it's a standardized test, but a lot of the science questions I've never seen before. Hey are u taking it on the computer? You get your grades right away.

Ok, thanks. I took it yesterday and I think 29 people were supposed to take it, but 15 people showed up.

Hi guys, I am transferring to kingsborough community college, and I'm trying to get into the nursing program. I read and heard that it was a bit easier to get in the program in kingsborough (I was attending lagcc, but my gpa 3.7 wasn't good enough). I took most of my prereqs from laguardia, all i need now is sci25, psy32, and micro If i do really well on the NLN, do you think my gpa of 3.7 is good enough? thanks!
