  1. In my previous classes I never used a backpack. I parked close to the school and had enough time to run out to my car between each class (3 classes) and put one book in and get out the other.
  2. I start next week. I will tke the entrance exam tomorrow. I hope I get in this spring. Congrats on starting school.
  3. To every one who has posted, the more I read the better I feel and the more determined to teach all of the nurses in my facility, a big lesson.
  4. SarahMaria I will also be going for my RN degree. The Director of Nursing in my facility is also one that talks to me like I am stupid. I really do not think she is suppose to talk like that she should be encouraging. Also there is one other CNA that is going to school too. We talk to each other alto about becoming LPNs. and an LPN that I have I have known since I was fourteen (before she became an LPN) who is very incouraging.
  5. I do not live far from my school. I drive about 10 min.
  6. I have been a CNA in Cumming Ga. I only get paid 9.18 per hour. but it is based on your experience. I recieved my CNA liscenes in January 2010. So the 21st of Jan will be 1 year. I have been told get your CNA's first. Just to get the feel of things. I am also going for my LPN's and hopefully can do the bridge program and get my RN in the next couple of years. I will get there shortly.
  7. Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate it very much.
  8. I work at a nursing home as a CNA and have started back to school, to become an LPN. I have been give the attitude that I am stupid and cannot get into the nursing program, by some of the LPN's at work. I just try to ask questions about nursing school and they are hateful. My DON talks to me like I have not clue to what I am doing, but hopes I can do my clinicals there. I know she is a negative person. But what should I say to them if they give me this attitude again?
