Welcome to Nursing! Unfortunately believe it or not but nursing is like this. I won't say nursing is like this everywhere but YES. You cannot believe anyone and you are out there on your OWN! But just put your full effort and things will shine better!

I would advise you to stick in there for more longer and if you have any further problems then you should certainly display them. It is better to speak your mind before things just get too complicated! Also try to adjust to the things around you, and maybe even trying to get along with your co-workers. Hope it helps!

Hi why it is that the BON needs SSN to process applications. What is the purpose? What are they exactly looking for? Will they look through my whole history. Thanks and just curious???:rolleyes:

But I did ask them if they needed all transcripts, and they said they didn't. But I was just curious if they can view them on their own without my permission. Thanx for the help!

Hi I have a urgent question, I did my nursing in India which was a 3 year program and I completed it in 2 years which included summers. I am afraid that the board of nursing in california might not like this, would they have a problem with this. I am just very worried right now, and was wondering with the SSN can they tell what universities/colleges I went to or just for identity. Thanks for all of the help, I truly apreciate it..God Bless.

Hi everyone, I have completed nursing school in India and I am now planning to practice in California. I am a U.S. citizen and have completed BSC in Nursing from India (Bachelors of Science) It was a four year program at a University there. I really need help right now, I tried contacting the board but they are always busy. If I can receive this help I will truly appreciate it. I need to know what I need to do in order to ptractice here. There is an NCLEX center in India, and if I take it there will I need to resit for the exam again once I hit the states or will it be better to take it here in the states? If I plan to take the NCLEX here in India, will I have to send the documentation to the NCLEX center here or in California? What is really the whole process? Thanks again for the whole help!!!!!!
