  1. The first semester there are four classes. Each mod is five weeks. Semester 2 & 3 are 3 classes. Then your last semester 2 classes. Clinicals start mod 3 of the 1st semester 1 day a week. Then will change to twice a week. It is a lot but try not to get behind in paperwork & studying. You will need to learn time management, it will be your best friend. :-)
  2. Congrats on starting your journey to nursing. I've been in the health field for as long as I can remember, so some things came easier for me then others. My teachers were great! Take your time with everything & you will do great.
  3. I graduated from from the one on west broad. Loved the instructors there. Some of the clinical sites were a little far out, but a great experience. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have about the program.
  4. I took the nclex-pn two weeks ago & it shut off at 85 questions. I was feeling the same way u are. I did the pvt trick & got the good pop up. :-) It put my mind at ease just a bit. 48 hours later my name was up on the bon website. I bet you did great!! Try the trick, it really works. Good luck :-)
  5. Thanks guys for all the kind words!!! This is why I love this site!! :loveya: Well I took the nclex today.... It stopped at 85 questions, I really thought it was time for a break. LOL Anyhoo, I leave the testing center feeling horrible, I felt like I didn't know ANY of the questions. No math, couple of peds & maternity. LOTS of prioritizing & SATA. Once I got home, I was to scared to do the PVT trick but did it anyway & got the good pop-up... Keeping my fingers crossed that it is right.. :)

  11. Hello all! I am taking the nclex in less than 24 hours & starting to freak out a little. Everyone has said to me that I am ready for this & will pass hands down. I on the other hand am not so sure. I have studied sooo much, I feel like I know nothing. Ugh.... I have decided to just pray on it & try to stay calm. Wish me luck, I will update as soon as I can. :-)
  12. Hello. I just finished Centura in Richmond. I enjoyed every minute of it. My instructors were great & the clinical sites were good. I know it's not in the area you were looking for, but I just wanted to give my 2 cents about the school. :-) Good luck on your search!!
  13. Sorry for the late reply, it's been crazy for me. Thank you all for your great words!!! I am trying really hard to stay postive & keep going. Mental Health was kicking my butt! lol Thank God I just finished it & passed. I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks again!!
  14. Hello all.. This is my first post here at AN but I have been reading everything here for the last year and a half. I have 11 weeks left in my LPN program and I'm starting to lose steam, I'm ready to give up. :-( It's been a rough year, I have almost made it to the finish line, but I can't seem to see the light. I think I just need some good, kind words that I'm not getting from anywhere else. Thanks :-)
