Busymom: lol...I know!! I figured the mailman is going to be wondering what I am doing getting all these packages!!! I've never gotten so many packages before in my life!!! I am thinking the Nano will fit better because it has the elastic in the back...they just look better....I have a hard enough time trying to NOT look like a marshmallow!!! Busymom35: I think I am going with the Nano...a few dollars more...but I think it is going to hold up alot better and I think the Nano top is going to look/fit better...they didn't have the Nano size for me to try on...and the other uniform was tight in the shoulders and HUGE everywhere else....I looked like a giant white marshmallow!!! My bank account is SCREAMING in PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

teejazzy: definitley the littman is the stethoscope I am going to go with...I was a medical assistant and have used them before, my last day of work..mine mysteriously came up missing! Which Littman did u get?? I think I definitely want to get one that is for both adult/peds!!! Busymom: What I did to ensure that I got the CD's...(I don't think every book had a CD) was I googled the ISBN number and looked to see if it did have a CD...then if I bought it off e bay..I made sure it came with the CD...it is time consuming...but as of right now...I have saved $400.00 and I only have 2 more to buy. I know at orientation they talked about the Skills video that came with the package...It is $130.00....so if we have to have that we would have the option to buy it separate from the bundle. So no matter what...I think we will save at least 200.00 doing it this way...(that's alot of money to me!!!) :) Have a great weekend guys! :)

so is anyone else feeling overwhelmed yet?? I choose not to do the book-package deal....I have all of my books except 2 and have already spend 292.00! I went from amazon to ebay...it was very time consuming with the ISBN numbers and looking to get the best price...but so far the money saved alone on books is WORTH the extra time!! Was looking at the stethoscopes and i guess I need one with the adult/pediatric bell on it...just to be on the safe side! any opinions?? Have a great weekend guys...it on of the last few we will get to enjoy for 5 semesters!!!

Sassyrn2012: one more question...I think I am going to take your advice and purchase books individually, but do we have to have "codes" someone said something about purchasing codes from evolve...????? hope that makes sense....and your help is so much appreciated!!! :)

teejazzy: here is the response i received from head of nursing regarding liability ins. no, your liability insurance will be through jeff state. you will pay a one-time fee of $15. we will give you more info on that at orientation. :):):):):)

I think I am going to go ahead and get the shots...the titers are expensive and not covered by insurance and then if you are not immune...you have to go back and pay for shots.... Reading on several post from allnurses.com...it is cheaper to just go ahead and get the vaccinations! I think all we HAVE to have COMPLETED before orientation!!! I think they will give us a small physical form to get the dr. to sign...thats what I've been reading on other post! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and they said do not put it in your gps...going from 280....get on valleydale....when you get to the golf course that you can see on right side...goto the red light and take a right....Firestation will be on left....it doesnt look like a typical fire dept...kinda looks like a "mini school"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hope this helps!!!
