  1. Hello all! So I was just looking for some advice from a third-party person. I have been a nurse in the OR for a little bit over a year now. I really like my job and the OR and (finally) know what I am doing. However, the hospital I work at specializes only in one type of service. I was offered a job at another hospital that would train me in other services, like ortho and vascular. I am thinking of doing travel OR nursing. Do any of you have experience with travel OR nursing? I can just take a guess and I know, deep down, I need to know other specialties to do travel nursing. Its just hard to leave my job and the wonderful people I work with. I'm not going to lie, but I am scared of leaving and then potentially not being good at the other place! I was wondering if anyone could tell me about travel OR nursing, how is it, what its like. Thanks for all your help! :)
