Thanks Silverdragon and Nursecubanita!!!! @silverdragon..I have also read forums about this...yeah,some succeded in getting their passports stamped but there are also several that they dont. My only hope is Prayers!! I have stressed out a lot just for this application, not to mention the expenses incurred...just hope that VO will give justice on my application. Silverdragon, do you think it's a nice idea to lie (though lying is bad) during our medical about my twins going on Speech therapy? Do you think I shouldn't tell anything to the Practitioner about this might he'll not notice this on them since basically if you'll see them they are just very normal 5 years old boys? @nursecubanita...i know about US and the issues about backlogs...me too, i have pending Eb3 application with PD of Jan 2010. But same agency who processed my Eb3 is determined to pursue an Eb2 application, it will be a travel nurse assignment with them as the employer. They were able to get nurses approved for Eb2 and this makes me to think to try but afraid might my twins will be medically inadmissible for US immigration.

I'm starting this thread in quest for some comments, inputs from our members...I am a Filipino nurse with pending Canadian Immigration application under FSW category. I already received a positive assessment from CIO. At this point in time, I am just waiting for the medical request for the entire family. But at the same time, too much worried for this medical exam. The thing is, I have twins (5 years old) with developmental delay (speech delay) but with normal hearing,vision and good fine/motor skills. Do you think this case is ground for rejection because of excess demand from Canada's healthcare? How about for US immigration...are they also not allowing dependents with developmental delay to migrate to US? Are they also particular with the medical exam pertaining to this case? Hope some readers can shed light on this topic..Thanks!

@orangepink...thanks for taking the time to answer this thread though it has been quite sometime I posted those uncertainties. FYI..I didn't push through applying for this Eb2 program because of few reasons...firstly, my AOR from Canadian PR application arrived quite in time that I didn't think anymore about this eb2. Since, if I'll have to spend a lot without certainty then I might as well spend for the one that gives a sure blow. Secondly, I am not sure if my qualifications meets the standard for eb2 category...though, the agency didn't assure me of any answer, just that I'll try submit my papers and see what will gonna happen next. Thirdly, a lot to spend..something I wasn't prepared to. Meanwhile, I am in my 2nd stage of application for Canada PR. I received a positive assessment from CIO. I'll just give it a try in Canada...maybe this is better than sitting down and waiting for my PD to become current of which quite impossible to happen for the next five years. Hi! Thanks for the advice...I am currently looking for an immigration attorney for this matter but don't know of anybody. Well, the offer letter states RN (bacalaureatte) plus 5 years nursing experience...or, RN with masteral degree. I've been doing a lot of research and if you check the USCIS website for Eb2..it states Bachelor of 4 years + 5 years of progressive work experience. They didn't actually mention the area of nursing..just RN though i guess the more specialized your area is the more you will be qualified for Eb2. I also have another question...since I have an approved Eb3 with PD Jan2010...will this be affected incase I will try my luck for Eb2? Thanks!!!... dont know why they have offered this to few of their nurses with more than 5 years working experience..Infact they even suggest to go there on Tourist visa so they can apply Eb2 simultaneuosly with Status adjustment.

Hi! I just want to revive issue about EB2 category for foreign nurses specifically Filipino Nurses. Lately my US agency has contacted me enquiring if I am willing to process under Eb2 visa which is current for Philippines unlike Eb3 which is years retrogressed. (I have Eb3 application with this agency with priority date Jan 2010..and can not wait for the long queue..i guess) The Eb2 offer letter states that it is for Nurses with masteral degree, or nurses with Bachelor's degree plus above 5 years nursing experience (deemed equivalent of a master's degree) of which this is the category where I belonged. They didn't mention the area of speciality..I guess they are not after of this as it's not mention though....I am a Neonatal Nurse (NICU-stepdown). There are expenses to incur...but I won't mind if they think I'm qualified for this. But I'm becoming fussy...because I dont want to shell out the initial payment and then being denied. Does anyone of you out there who has gone through same situation of mine? I'm really confused whether to grab this one or not. Though I want to gamble and try my luck....

Hi! I am planning to sit for the CRNE February 2011. I wasn't able to compose myself for October 2010. Apparently, I heard rumors that the June 2010 CRNE was purely a multiple choice question..did they really omit the short anwer-question? Well, I found this type of exam a bit difficult.. I have been successful with NCLEX last year but it also took me a year to prepare myself..I have used so many review materials such as Exam Cram,lipincott,Mosby,Saunders and Delmar SNSA and I never missed out a day reading rationales..I think this helped me a lot. Now, I am back to it again...Thanks God because I never get tired of reviewing. This is all what I need to succeed comes CRNE 2011...Hope I will make it!

Hello To All.... Just today, I received a letter from a US source..Does anyone of you heard about IAAPN? the website is www.IAAPN.org Please visit this website... Well, we all know that H1B is very restrictive and it's only for those with specialty nursing areas. Now, I was encouraged by this source to obtain this certificate from IAAPN. The cost will total $150 (lifetime membership $50 and $125 for the certificate), there's an online exam passing mark is 69%, it's like an NCLEX..though) to be eligible for H1B visa. I don't know if you heard about this....but if this true..then its a choice for those nurses who are not currently eligible for H1B, but with VSC plus NCLEX. Hope Silverdragon and nursecubanita are with me....what do you think about this?
