  1. I applied as well for FAU...I got into the South University nursing program already which starts in April but I really want to go to FAU as that is where I went to college for the past 3 years and I love the school. I have a 3.67 GPA and scored a 91.2% on Hesi...I checked the threads for previous years and most people found out about acceptance around Feb 15th or so! Hopefully soon we will be getting out letters! I heard FAU is so competitive and I have no idea how they do the selection process!
  2. They called me and told me all my paperwork was in and that all the decisions would be made by the end of October so I am just waiting now... I am hoping FAU might accept me lol I have been a student there since freshman year so you never know... what was your HESI score when you applied with a 3.8?? I actually have a higher gpa for their prereqs I have a lot of miscellaneous classes on my transcript because I used to be a true bio major...
  3. I would choose UM before Barry definately since their pre-reqs are less and similar to FAU... I dont know much but I know they accept 100 students a semester... I might re-apply to Nova for fall if I dont get in this semester or if I dont get into FAU, i wont know about FAU until March! Fau doesnt start until summer unfortunately!
  4. No FAU is very hard to get into, only accepts 40 students, i got a 91.4% on the entrance exam for FAU... it is very close to my house so that is the only reason i want to go to FAU a little more than Nova, even though NOVA's campus is awesome and I know their program is probably way better, i live in boynton beach and to commute to ft. lauderdale is a big deal..
  5. I applied last week! I know some people already got accepted for Winter term.. I am sure plenty of people applied but I bet more apply in fall because of the Baptist scholarship that is offered only in fall. I also applied for FAU, did you apply anywhere else?
  6. They called me the day I sent in my application and told me that I should know by the end of October because they will have all their decisions made by then!
  7. Thank you! I applied for the Davie campus! I am also applying to FAU, I took the HESI nursing entrance exam on Friday and got a 91.4%, Fau is just sooo competitive from what I hear that I dont wanna put all my eggs in one basket!! I will definately keep you posted!!
  8. I have a 3.633, I have 155 service volunteer hours at the Office of Students with Disabilities at FAU, and I got a phone call from Nova yesterday telling me they recieve my application and I should know by the end of October they said all their decisions will be made! Fingers crosses!
  9. karinat and giggles what were your credentials? I applied for jan 2011 but I only applied today!! So hopefully that didnt hurt my chances!
  10. I applied for Jan 2011 as well!! I am so nervous as well, i just want to be in the program already!
  11. Has anyone applied for the January 2011 entry-level BSN program at Nova? I just sent in my application! I go to FAU and have a 3.633. I am taking my HESI tomorrow for the FAU program because I am applying there too but heard its extremely hard to get into! I feel I have a better chance of getting into nova!! Anyone that just go into the august 2010 program?! Let me know a little about your credentials!
