  1. ok thank you very much for the information, i am from texas and have absolutly no idea about the orlando area, i wouldnt mind going to work at a nursing home from graduation especially since they say nursing homes pay more for lpns than hospitals, but everyone keeps telling me i need at least 1 year of med-surg, although i do plan to get my rn and some nurses say that if i get my rn i dont have to worry about the med-surg year. Very confusing!!!!
  2. hi so i am a soon to graduate lvn (december) and i am looking to move to the dfw area, with you experience how is the job outlook for lvn's in that area hospitals vs. nursing homes, of course i plan to get my rn also but i want to get the best oportunity possible while i am an lvn
  3. What are the best hospitals to work at as a new Graduate LVN in Orlando. Salary/Exp/Location.
  4. Hey Everyone, I am a current nursing student in a local LVN program in Waco, Tx. I am looking to move to either Houston or Dallas once i Graduate in Dec. I dont know much about either area, and I was hoping that some nurses that live in that area can help me out with salaries, opportunities, etc. I do plan on getting my RN in whatever city i move to and i am not sure what rotation i want to permanently work in yet. Although i do know that i want to get my years Med-Surg done right after graduation, I do not plan on going to a nursing home facility directly out of school. Do any Senior Nurses have any advice for me??????
