  1. I got a regret as well. And a regret from Stanford too. But I do not regret to say that I have not given up! So I will keep applying (4-5 applications a day) until someone finally calls me and tells me that am hired! Good luck to us all.
  2. Hi everyone! Just scheduled my phone interview for Monday. I am so nervous as I want to get into this program so badly. Guess all I can do is give it my best shot and keep saying my prayers. Wish us all well as we continue looking for jobs.
  3. Got an email saying that my resume has been fowarded to the PCU hiring manager for interview selection. Saying a little prayer. Good luck to us all as we continue job hunting.
  4. Neither have I!! I keep hoping my inbox shows (1) new message from the recruiter but nothing yet. I've been this close to calling them but am thinking patience is a virtue so I'll hold on a little longer. Good luck to us all.
  5. Hi guys! Has anyone heard anything yet? Im here eagerly waiting for an email or a phone call (with positive feedback)!!
  6. Quick late note that I hope will help CNA's/RN's looking into BrightStar in the future... I got a job at BrightStar during my first semester as a nursing student. I saw an ad on craigslist and went ahead and applied and they called me back almost immediately. After an interview, background check and all that, I begun getting assignments. I did not get much of an orientation but each time I got a new patient, the manager made sure to send me their complete profile and careplan so I could be familiar with the patient's needs. I gave them my weekly availability and was scheduled on a regular basis. Bottom line, I never had any issues with BrightStar. With the little I made, I was able to keep up with my (not so many) bills in nursing school. The manager and the personnel in the office were all very professional. The manager was aware that I was in nursing school so when I graduated, she paired me up with nurses so I could "shadow" them which I really enjoyed since I planned to work on the side as a home visit nurse. And that my friends is my input about the bright side of BrightStar!
  7. Thanks chemincal! This is actually my second time applying. I did in August though I didnt learn about the program until a day before the posting closed. They said I would be lucky if they even got a chance to send me a questionnaire which they fortunately did but I did not get an interview. Hopefully something great comes out of it this time! Anyone heard from they yet?
  8. Hallo Nurses! I just applied to the UCSD RN New Grad program and wanted to connect with other nurses who have done the same. I have sent out so many applications and haven't gotten anything yet so am hoping this is it! Good luck us all! Anyone with previous experience about the hiring process at UCSD?
  9. I am a new grad too and just received the questionnaire email which I responded to immediately. Hoping my resume is forwarded to a nurse manager...a little prayer said.
