  1. @celticmoonwolf ty so much i appreicate that. @circleslide i needed that hug. I am feeling so fustrated right now but i have FAITH. Everything is in my favor. God hasnt let me down so far and he will come on TIME. Thanks everybody for your replies. I just needed a little bit more confirmation.
  2. A circleslide well it is where i am at. Fort wayne. I kinda sucks. Like i have stated earlier, i am a medical assistant. We normally work during the day but school start for me next week. I had interviews and they actually want to hire me but they dont take a paper stating that i passed and i am waiting on my registry number. They want you to be in the system. there motto is that if you arent registered then you arent a CNA
  3. Thanks ya'll i appreciate that. I called the DOH here in indiana and they said the minimum is 6 weeks for me to get my numbers. I'm like how am i suppose to work. She said they allow the cna's to work off the paperwork they recieved stating they passed but i am not finding one job that'll take that. they type up my ssn and name and they dont even have "paperwork" from my school yet. So of course i am calling the school and they said that it takes 4 week to 5 weeks to get a registry number. I have a good friend that live in indy and she got her cna a while back but a nursing home hired her the next week without the registry number. Its the nursing homes here that suck and ask for to much. I guess i have to wait
  4. well thats the thing. i went to two interviews and got hired at both jobs but they dont hire cna's without there registry number. one job i was suppose to start tomorrow but they said it cost 4800 to get ppl through oreintation. alot can happen by the time they hire ppl in and when they get registered so they no longer want to lose out on money like that. So it all depends on the facility i was told but every place i called wants the number. I have the paperwork stating i passed. So im pretty much stuck. I am a medical assistant. I can no longer work because i am going to school as a nurse during the day.
  5. I am from indiana. Took a cna class at my local cc, ivy tech. it took about 3 n a half weeks to train. Took the written and the skills test and passed. Well i wasnt informes that alot of jobs are hiring if we dont have a resgistry number. Some say it take 4-6 weeks and the others say 6-10. Are there any other indiana resident that can answer this question whom already took this test and passed. WHEN WILL I GET MY REGISTRY NUMBER
