Hello everyone This is my first post on this forum, please bear with me if my net etiquette is not up to the mark. I have a bachelors from India (3.25 GPA) and Masters from Illinois Institute of Technology in a different field. My masters gpa is 3.2. I have to start taking my prerequisites online. I am interested in nursing as a second career and want to get into Cox school of nursing for couple of reasons. 1. My wife and I work in bentonville , arkansas. 2.If I study full-time, she can work and support me. 3.The fees for Cox is under 30k, which is ok with me as I have saved 20k and remaining amount , I will be looking for loans. 4.My ultimate aim is to do a DNP with CRNA specialization. 5.My second choice school is Duke's ABSN program. I don't know if my wife will get a job in North Carolina. I would like to get some input from senior members over here on whether Cox school of nursing is a good school to start someones second career and use the ABSN education as a launch pad for successful career in nursing. Thanks in advance
