the interview went well, at least that is what i thought until i didnt get the position:( but then again, i was up against about 15other candidates in which at least 8 of them had experience in case management oh well the search continues!!

delphiforums.com is a great site and alot of resourceful information that i used during my travel years....click on health and wellness, then travel nurses & therapists once you go to site. good luck and from the calls/emails i have been receiving, the industry seems to be picking back up...however, you may not be able to be as "picky/choosy" as it use to be back when things were really up;)

Hello All! I will be going for an interview next week at an insurance company for the position of a case manager and was wondering what type of questions to expect that may be specified or geared specifically for a nurse case manager. I have been a bedside nurse for 7years, very familiar with hospital/clinical based interviews being that I traveled 4 of those years and encountered them numerous times.....BUT, a little stunned on what to possibly expect stepping out of the hospital environment. Also, would like to know are there any specific questions that I should ask the interviewer?!? any help/advice is greatly appreciated and Thanks in advance!!:) in addition, does anyone know the going salary(ballpark) for RN/BSN case manager in NC??
