  1. I graduated in December and working in psych nursing right now. I do know that we have sister companies in the ATL area if I am not able to find a job in anything else. But I really enjoy mental health
  2. I am a new grad. I graduated in December.
  3. Hello all - I graduated this past December and wondered a few things before moving to Atlanta: 1. Where are the best places to look for a job (that will hire) a new grad or with one year experience? 2. What is the approximate start salary of a new grad? 3. How long does it take for GSBN to process a state to state application to obtain my licensing for Georgia? Thanks so much in advance. I don't know any nurses in Georgia to ask or lead me along the way.
  4. I'm glad that someone replied back to this post because I was wondering the same thing for when I move out next year. I have no idea what the start pay is with only a year experience. I am making right in between those two ranges. Any idea what the inner city rates pay with limited experience?
  5. Thanks for the input.. I will save your email to know where to look. I am hoping to be there this time next year.. do you mind sharing what the start salary in GA is? Here, in Arkansas, our start pay is between $19-$23/hr base for a new grad... similar there or not? I know Texas (next door) pays a lot more than Arkansas. Thanks for the input..
  6. Hey Guys - I had no luck finding anything right now.. so I am haven't moved yet because I am running into the same problem I guess as you guys. I am still looking though. I have postponed until next year around this time because it is pretty tight there in ATL. Has anyone found anything yet?
  7. Hello, I am relocating to Atlanta after the first of the year. I will be graduating with my RN. I am worried because I have been reading that most area Atlanta hospitals are not hiring new grads with no experience. I have been told differently when I call the HR departments, but not been promised anything. Does anyone know of any area hospitals that are hiring brand new grads? I have been getting quite frustrated trying to line things out. Also, what is the start pay average of a new grad in the Atlanta area? Thanks so much in advance.
