  1. i think it all depends on what floor or area your working in. for a few months, i was training in a nursing home. i grew to like alot of the patients there and had a few close relationships with them. but unfortunalty, some of the had passed away. it was the hardest thing i ever went through becuase i felt close to some of them and now there gone. since then, i have learned that sometimes you cant have a 'relationship' with the patients, even in long term care.:uhoh21: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Live each day with no regrets
