  1. Days make 9.00 an hour and nights make 9.75 but after I was certified it was 10.25, but then you get performance raises
  2. How is Med Tech I'm seriously looking there, I have heard they have had problems about accreditation. Have you heard anything.
  3. You have to go to Miller's and they have a computer in their lobby, I believe they had a cna class or I think you apply as a BNA, Real simple application, then not even a week later they called for an interview, now they can only accept two people from each miller's in indiana. I didn't get chosen the first time or my sister then, the next class they called both of us. I did have to pay for my phsyical is was like 45.00 also you get check for TB which is a little shot in the arm they have to do this twice, and the class is held at Castleton Miller's Merry Manor. Class is Monday - Friday 8-5 the first week, and the clinicals were 6-2:30 the second and third week, at the nursing home you applyed at. They also told us about job openings at the end, so I applyed and even got a job out it. This is a farely new program and I learned alot, we only had 12 people in the classroom, We had a 90% pass rate on the state test.
  4. Thank you have really helped me out
  5. Has anyone heard anything about Fortis College, I'm looking into nursing programs, and just trying to look at all my options. Thanks
  6. Hi, I just took a free CNA class through Miller's Merry Manor, they even paid for my state test, which is through Ivy Tech. It.s 1 week of classroom, and 2 weeks of clinicals, took me a while to find free training, but here it is hope this helps someone that was looking.
  7. That's exactly what I'm doing, I have been a CNA for six months, working in a nursing home. I was lucky to find a nursing home, that offered free training and a job. I'm looking into Nursing Schools, and they have asked if I have experience. It will open your eyes if you really want to get into health care field. Good Luck!
