Hi ghillbert! I have looked through the forum: after browsing back about 5 pages worth of threads it looked like most of the people asking were citizens of countries other than the US, and so most of the answers were about things like obtaining SS#s or green cards, none of which apply to me. If you find any threads that name specific schools accredited by the CA-BRN, especially distance schools, yes please point me towards them! I have a good relationship with a hospital in California, and I think they might be willing to supervise my clinical hours. Cheers!

Hi all! I'm a native Californian and I'm currently living in New Zealand, where I'm working on my Bachelor of Nursing degree. I'm going to be applying for licensure in California once I've graduated here, but as I don't fulfill some of the BRN requirements (specifically I lack OB/Peds theory and clinical hours), I've been advised I can fulfill these requirements by attending classes at an accredited nursing program. Does anyone have an experience doing this? Can you recommend any nursing schools or programs, or give me any advice? Cheers!
