  1. So I recently got a job interview with at LTAC for a "clinical systems analyst" position, basically traveling from site to site training and debugging during the rollout of new EHR and its features. The fine gentleman on the phone has told me that 40-50% of my time will be traveling. Now my interview is Monday, so that is all the information I have at the moment. But my question to my fellow nurses who have held or know about such a position is... what are your travel requirements for such a position and is there room for progression in the informatics specialty. Thank you for your time. -AC
  2. My suggestion to you would be to do what is right for you. Although you may not look great in the eyes of the recruiter that you are turning down, you should take the job that is best for your situation. You don't want to take the job you will hate 6 months/1 year down the road.
