Same here! I've been patiently waiting to hear from them. I hope to hear from them soon, I am like constantly checking my email to see if I've received an email from them.

Aggie2005: congrats on recieving an interview invitation. Just wanted to know did your ecconct change from pending to something else? I am still waiting on my interview invitation; I know of two people who got rejection letters today.

So I spoke to UTMB today and they said that they will be sending out emails to selected students next week for interviews. *Fingers Crossed* Good Luck to everyone once again!

Also, do you know how many students were accepted for fall 2010? I know they had over 600 applications..

What is the difference between the accelerated and the traditional program? Is accelerated the one which is 15 months long whereas tranditional is longer?

Nope.. Haven't heard anything yet. We should be hearing from them soon. :)

Ohok. That's not bad at all, i think its pretty reasonable..well atleast I think its pretty reasonable than the amount I am paying at HBU right now! :/

How much is the tuition per semester at UTMB?

Also, when you said that you met someone at the orientation who got in with a 3.2 GPA. Was this 3.2 their overall GPA or was that their science GPA?

Kelly2010: did UTMB really focus on the teas scores? What was the average GPA for all the students that got into the nursing program for fall 2010? Also, where will you be doing your clinicals? Thanks :)

I really hope we all are one of those "80" people to get into the nursing program :)

my teas scores weren't that great :/ ...but wow out of 300 people that applied, only 80 will get in. That's such a small number.

my prereqs gpa is 3.5 and science is 3.7 :) ...mines isnt too great either! Yes, you're right Ariess...couple of my friends who go there told me that you can do your clinicals at the medical center in houston.

yea that's what sucks that we cant take it again..but anyway..i also applied to UTHSC Houston too! I just have my fingers crossed and hope that i get into atleast one of those schools. :) Would you mind sharing your gpa?
