I have a question about getting into ASU nursing. In critical tracking courses GPA, does it mean I must take every course listed in there for the full 56 credits (17 courses), before I can be considered for nursing. Also, does it use the GPA from every single course, or can I pick and choose which courses to come to the best GPA possible. Also, does anyone know the mathematical formula to arrive at the 6 point scale? More info below. Any input would be greatly appreciated, thank you. 3. How is advancement to the Upper Division Nursing program determined? Students who meet or exceed the critical tracking requirements will be ranked on a 6-point scale as follows: up to 4 points for the GPA in critical tracking courses and up to 2 points for the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). Beginning with the top ranked, students are placed in available Upper Division Nursing courses until all spots are filled.
