  1. hi lilaclover, My interview was very much the same as yours. A lot of scenerios but no math, thankfully. The whole interview took an hour or so. They have called me back already for my references. Hopefully, i get d job! :) The position is for a casual medical/surgical RN float...
  2. Hi! I have an interview with VCH (here in BC) next week. Anyone here know about their interview process? Or any interview process of other health authorities? I'm really excited and anxious at the same time. I'm an new grad IEN and new CRNBC registrant with no previous acute care experience so I was surprised to receive a call from them. I really want to pass the interview! Thanks!!!
  3. Thanks very much Silverdragon102 and Fiona59! The market is really tough for new grads so I'm really happy I atleast got this interview. hoooooooo! my hands are really cold and my heart is beating so fast right now. I hope i get enough sleep tonight... I hope I do well tomorrow!!! =)
  4. Hi all! I got a job interview on monday and i am very anxious about it. THis is my first ever job interview and i just don't know how to go about it. I am a foreign educated new grad, but i have already passed the CRNE and can work as an RN already under the Provisional Registration of CRNBC. so here are a few questions i desperately need help with: 1. What do I wear? 2. What is the set-up of a nursing home in canada? The only thing i know about nursing homes here is through the volunteer work i have done, so i do not know how it is to really work in one. 3. What is the salary for someone under the Provisional Registration in BC? The salary range for RNs in BC is $29-$39, but i do not have my full license yet. Is the salary the same range in the acute area and in nursing homes? 4. Any general tips for a job interview? Thanks!!!!
