Thanks susanne, my degree already covered mental health and paediatric nursing. So atleast dont have to worry about that! I am trying to find some short basic course in obstetrics in the UK so that I dont have to do a full midwifery course. So far I havent had much luck as none of the universities I have checked cater to such needs. But thanx for ur reply anyways!

I desperately need help with some advice! I applied to sit for the CRNE to work in Alberta but I have been asked to do an extra course in Obstetrics; despite having done a degree course in adult nursing. I have checked with all the universities in London and can't find any place that does single courses in obstetrics. If anyone can help and point me in the right direction, who has been through similar situation.... be extremely appreciated!

Right now it all feels a bit daunting and I am kinda apprehensive of the whole move but am sure I'll cope n get there eventually. Have been saving whatever lil I can right now! Hi, I have recently finished my degree in nursing in England and sitting for the Canadian RN exam this Aug. Just wondering and be v grateful if you can advice me on those helpful websites to help me prepare. Are there any specific books that I can get hold of here in England? Ta

umm... actually i am hoping somewhere either in bc or in alberta as my fiance is from there (edmonton, alberta) and would finally like to cut the distance that keeps us apart a bit shorter! i was just browsing the websites u suggested. am trying to book myself a place for the exam in aug...so thanx for the luck....it seems i will need it!! :)
