  1. thank you both for the reply. I have decided to enroll at excelsior.I've heard a lot of good things about the school. heck, my old school even accepts excelsior nursing exams for credit. they seem to be a very comprehensive and respected program. thanks again.
  2. I am a former ASN student who dropped out in my last semester due to illness. That was in January of 2001. I recently reapplied to my old school but I may have to wait a year or two before I can get in. I am considering Excelsior but I am worried because of the small amount of clinical time. My old school had rigorous clinicals--- I've done IV pushes, in and out cathes, sterile dressing changes, started IV's, trach care, NG tubes etc. I am wondering If Excelsior would be good for me or is it directed more towards LPN's and corpsmen? Any Excelsior grads with a situation similar to mine? Any advice woild be greatly appreciated.
