    Kilby, I too do not go along with the no nit policy. I, however, do do classroom head checks. It is the main way I can catch the live or nits and get them taken care of as alot of my parents do not routinely check their children. I am new as a school nurse and this practice may change for me, I don't know but for right now it works. Samantha
