  1. It really wasn't that bad. I strongly suggest getting the review book though. The vocabulary was pretty straightforward for the most part. There were some words I didn't know, but again, the review book really helped me out a lot there. I took the HESI without having taken AP2, so it was a little difficult for me. but since I reviewed quite a bit, I managed to score fairly well. As with all the subjects, it's mostly generic questions. If you did well in the classes, then it should be no problem with a little reviewing. good luck!
  2. Hey everyone. I'm new to the post. I applied for the generic Spring '11 semester a few months ago. To answer a few of your questions- (hope it helps) I took my HESI in may as well, and sent in my application shortly after. I, like you guys, was worried about the online status of my scores, transcripts, etc. It's pretty hard to contact the school about certain questions, but I called several people and finally got some of my questions answered: If you have taken the HESI and sent in your application, the school has access to your scores. The woman I spoke with said she can see my scores, but the online status won't be updated until later. (it had to do with processing/transferring data, etc.) Regarding transcripts, even if they have a copy of your transcript, it will show "no official document on record" until you finish ALL of the needed prerequisites. So, in my case, I wont be finishing prerequisite until the the semester before the spring. And I was told to just keep sending in updated versions of my transcript as I complete courses. So they most likely have everything you sent them, it just takes a very long time to update everything. (A counselor of mine told me they actually send all the information to UT Austin 1st, then back to UT Houston! ha!) As for interviews, I was told that they don't start analyzing applications until after the deadline in September. After that they will inform people about coming in for interviews and writing sample! So I'm stuck playing the waiting game until then! I'm so nervous!
