I'm researching the possibility of going to nursing school. I'm a single mom of 17 month old twin toddlers and I'm realizing that I have nothing to offer them financially. My soon-to-be-ex husband makes good money, but I need to be able to support myself. I became very interested in nursing after XH heart surgery and my twins 9 week stint in the NICU. Is it possible to attend nursing school full time and still be a good mother? Honestly, I'd rather attend now when they don't remember it, than wait until they're older. I have support from my XH financially and with the kids. He wants to support me until I get my degree and is a good dad, so I do have some help, but no family support. Are there any been there, done that stories?
