so basically, pre nursing is just a name of some sort? because I've always thought that it is a program that you would need to finish in order to get in to the nursing program. for the application, do you apply to the school again even if you're already in since you took your prerequisite and GEs there? and is the November application date also apply to the date for the nursing program application? but the last time I checked, CSUEB only had the pre nursing major. is it the same as BSN? thank you sooo much for being willing to answer my questions. you're awesome :)

Hi guys I really am confused. Is pre nursing the same as taking prerequisite? Or is taking prerequisites the stuff you need to do in order to get in to pre nursing? Or are you automatically in to pre nursing once you finished your prerequisites?

So I'm planning on becoming a nurse and study at SF State, San Jose State, or Cal East Bay I don't get the program. So you take your prereqs right? and then what? do you have to apply to the pre nursing program after you finish your prereqs or are you automatically in and all you have to worry about is getting in to the nursing major? and i'm just wondering... is pre nursing your first and second years of college and the nursing major the third and fourth years? i'm really sorry if this post is too long and i sound like a complete dum dum.. it's just that i'm really confused.
