missouri state university CRNA 2013 interview
Any information on the interview process? I've heard it's a 2 panel interview. Is it clinical based or more get to know you. Would appreciate any response.

How many times did you apply for CRNA school before being accepted?
I currently reside in Oklahoma and the options are extremely limited. I believe there is one satellite school? So, the chances of me moving out of state to go to school are high. Thanks for the info.

How many times did you apply for CRNA school before being accepted?
I was wondering if there is anyone who is currently or previously enrolled who applied more than once to CRNA school? If you weren't accepted the first time did that change your views on becoming a CRNA? Also, what can one expect in the way of costs for interviews (hotels, airfare, app. fee)? Any replies would be greatly appreciated! :)

Crossed the line... or expected behavior?
I know that if I was the pt. I wouldn't want someone explaining to me what was going on. I think it would only increase the anxiety. "Get ready we're about to puncture your pleural cavity." Not reassuring. The pt. should do their due diligence and learn a little about the procedure, be this asking the practioner or doing a little research.

There are no psych units at the IHS in tahlequah. There is one at the city hospital.

Working for the Indian Health Service
I live in Tahlequah, Ok and the hospital here is one of the nicest IHS hospitals I have seen. (there are probably 4-5 in a 100 mile radius). Another advantage for an RN working here in Tahlequah is the university is only 5 min. From the hospital. Northeastern State has a BSN program available. The city hospital is also directly in front of the IHS (WW Hastings). I don't mean to sound like such a homer but Tahlequah and IHS hospitals need good nurses. The town really is a beautiful one....did I mention the river is 2 miles away.
