  1. I'm looking for some expert advice with regard to my career choice. I'm currently an ACNP student at the Univ of Penn and am having second thoughts about how flexible a career as an ACNP truly is. We're expecting our third child any day now and I will essentially have three children under three years of age. My ideal work scenario is to work 3-4 days/week. I enjoy the flexibility shift work affords me. Question: Which NP specialty will give me the greatest opportunity to work on a part time basis, FNP or ACNP? As far as a career in the ED, do you find that FNP's or ACNP's are hired in that setting? Thanks in advance for your advice!!
