I understand that some states have issues with Excelsior....but is it true if you work for a year or two in a state that accepts Excelsior then you are okay to work in other states??!! thanks for the help :)

I really need so help/guidance from some other nurses :) I feel lost lately because I really want to get my RN. However, since I am overseas with my husband my options are pretty slim right now. I haveat been thinking hard about Excelsior and I have grants from the military to help pay but today I read about the CPNE where you go for two days to test out for clinical....and a lot of people fail Thats not very encouraging....I also know that Excelsior has places in the states that you cant work in unless you have a year experience...after theat year experience can you work in any state??? I also saw somewhere on this website people talking about Indiania State University...how is that school??? Just trying to have a little hope before I just feel like giving up...thanks for the help!!

I am currently overseas with my husband in England. He is in the military and we are suppose to be here for a few years. I just recieved my LPN degree and license this summer 2010. I was accepted into the RN program back home in NY. I obvioulsy did not go. But that is okay now I just need help to finish up my goal and dreams of being an RN. I really want my associates first and later down the road my Bachelors. I know about Excelsior College but what else is out there??? I have looked and looked and nothing I found one college that is in Ohio state but you have to live in that state to do their online program. SO Please if anyone knows more options that would be great. Also, if anyone thinks Excelsior is really awesome let me know that may have to be my option. Thanks in advance for your help.... :) Just a girl trying to be all she can be!
