IV test is on day 4 and pharmacology is on day 5. Not looking forward to the drive on Monday morning and taking those tests, but very excited to start! :)

Awww man! That makes me sad. I thought it was $33.50 plus overtime. Oh well, better than nothing. So I did the math. It makes sense. So pretty much, here's how it goes. Pay for first 8 hours of the 12-hour shift: 28.71 x 8 = $229.68 Pay for Last 4 hours of the 12-hour shift (time and a half): (28.71 x 1.5) x 4 = $172.26 So for the whole 12 hours, we get: 229.68 + 172.26 = $401.94 To get the average rate for the whole shift: 401.94/12 = $33.495 or $33.50 Thus, they told us it's $33.50 per hour. Bummer! Still not bad though. :)

$30 makes more sense. That's how much I paid for parking when I had my preceptorship there last spring. I'm going for my physical on the 1st. Does that mean I have to go to quest diagnostics? Or do I just go to cedars?

I only used an unoffiial transcript for my portfolio too.

NurseVN, who told you that you need a copy of your official transcript? I wonder if we all need one because I wasn't told about it and I don't have a copy handy.

I was told to just bring two forms of identification. I later got an email telling me to also bring my licenses/certifications and a direct deposit slip or two voided checks if I want direct deposit. Nobody mentioned anything about a transcript.

I feel your pain too! Why can't they just call everybody already, regardless of the start date. This wait is killing me! I'm getting anxious...

When you talked to the director, was it like an actual interview? I spoke with the director too, but only for like a minute. It was only because she wanted to clarify something. It wasn't an actual interview.

That's exactly what I did during our long drive home. Haha I know. I don't even remember how/why we started talking. All I know is I was getting my soda and then BAAAAM! Lol it was nice meeting you though. And yes, keep in touch and let me know how things go. Yey! For Disneyland to distress. :) And you should claim what's rightfully yours soon too (your Disneyland pass).

But monkeys are cute! Lol The more I think about that interview, the more I get anxious. I thought I was over the 'thinking about it and worrying" phase after I talked to you and my friends, but then my bf asked for a play-by-play on what happened. Lol

There's no second interview, at least not today. The directore was only there to read the comments the interviewer wrote down, make sure everything was okay, and clarify any questions. Most didn't have to speak with the director. I personally do not think it meant anything if you (or anybody) didn't get to talk to the director. This one week wait is going to drive me insane!!! Keeping my fingers crossed. 45% is not bad at all. Good luck to all of us. :)

OMG! I'm starting to panic for tomorrow. I just noticed that the LOR my professor sent me is just printed on ordinary paper (looks photocopied). I have another one from her that is sealed in an envelop, but I'm pretty sure it's the same thing. Should I bring that LOR sealed, so it shows it's not photocopied? And how did you guys format the cover page? Name: xxxx GPA: xxxx Area: of Intrest: xxxx Left-justified? Centered? Middle of the Page? Sorry I ask too much. I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right.
