  1. I have to agree with the previous response. Depends on what you mean by "horrible GPA", you may find it very unlikely to compete with other applicants as nursing is a relatively competitive field. In some urban states like California and Hawaii, no one is guaranteed to be admitted in some public nursing program even if your GPA is above 3.6. But of course, there are less competitive program which you may get in with a GPA around 3.0 or, fortunately, a little lower. In case of admission for Fall 2010 nursing, depends on if you are willing to RELOCATE, I know Baptist Health School in Little Rock, Arkansas are still accepting Fall 2010 RN admission and the deadline is July 15, 2010. You can google it up for more info.
