If all goes as planned, I'm hoping to begin nursing school in a year and I LOVE coming on this site to read all of your stories, jokes, etc. Soooo much information as well as entertainment! However....I know several nurses and it is split about 50/50 as to who loves their job and who HATES it. I know why I want to be a nurse and I'm certain that my reasons will change and/or grow as I continue on the journey.... But my question is this.... Why are each of YOU nurses? Are your reasons the same as they were in the beginning? Do you love it or hate it? Or neither? Did you have idealistic viewpoints that were immediately shattered? Would you do it again? What are you thankful for? Any and all viewpoints, opinions, thoughts, suggestions, and sentiments are appreciated!! Thanks so much! :heartbeat

Considering taking the PCT class at TCC in the Fall. However, I would also be taking the Intro to Bio for majors as well. The bio class would be a blended, partly online class, but I'm wondering if the two together would be too much to handle. Anyone taken the PCT class and able to tell me how involved or difficult it is...as well as the Intro to Bio class? Also, what exactly is a PCT qualified to do? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!!
