Hi all! We'll be moving from San Diego to VA Beach in June (military family). I'm ready to apply to nursing programs, but am quite unsure which school to choose! I already have a B.A., so I don't necessarily need a BSN. I've spent the last two months researching the Hampton Roads area schools. One program that caught my eye was the Norfolk State evening/weekend program?! From what I can tell on the web page, you attend two evenings a week and all day Saturday. Does anybody know of this program? I've left two messages for the department advisor (?), but haven't received a call back. Ideally, I'm looking for a good program that will take into consideration my B.A./general ed credits and importantly, a program that is somewhat flexible for stay-at-home moms. (2 kids ages 4 and 2) or, a school with a decent daycare/preschool. Also, on another subject, does anybody know the "reputation" of St. Gregory the Great's elementary school?! One last thing...have been trying to find the NCLEX-RN passing rates for the various school. Is there an internet site that lists the results? Heard anything around the "grapevine" about passing rates? Esp. ODU, NSU, Hampton, etc. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOU HELP!!! I'm lost... :rotfl:
