  1. Med surg or straight to Peds?

    I'm a new May 2010 graduate who hasn't taken boards yet. Peds is my interest! I have two offers on a 12 bed peds floor (which cross trains to L&D and Nursery). And and offer to a LTAC facility (pay is way better). I know some say get med surg experience but i'm afraid that if I take the job at the extended care facility, I will miss out on having that peds opportunity. And alot of peds positions want you to have some peds experience. I'm so very confused. Help please!!
